H-Bracket — Color System Expansion

Selected mark (output-resolve) recolored only — geometry unchanged. Three new flat systems and three subtle dimensional studies, each on light and dark, at 100 / 32 / 16px. Base ink uses currentColor so it flips for dark backgrounds; the accent stays constant.

Original color concepts existing — base #0A0A0A + signal orange #FF5C39
v1 · light
v2 · light
v3 · light
v1 · dark
v2 · dark
v3 · dark
ObservationThe orange signal is warm and energetic but leans consumer/startup. On dark, the near-black base disappears (these are baked, not currentColor-flipped) — which is exactly the gap the new systems below close.

Palette logicCool graphite + a desaturated steel blue — institutional, not the bright "SaaS blue."
Brand feelingReliable, serious, enterprise-ready; reads like instrumentation/infrastructure.
ContrastStrong on light; steel accent holds on dark without vibrating.
Small sizeExcellent — accent stem stays legible at 16px in both polarities.
RiskThe safest/most expected of the three; could feel familiar.
RecommendationDefault primary for enterprise/B2B contexts.
v5 — Machine Signalblue-black #0C1014 · cyan-teal #17A8BD

Palette logicNear-black blue base + a controlled cyan-teal as the "signal" on the output — the data-processing read.
Brand feelingMachine communication, input→output, alive but disciplined.
ContrastCyan pops beautifully on dark; on light it's the right energy without going neon.
Small sizeStrong; the lit output stem is the most "scannable" accent at 16px.
RiskCyan can drift toward crypto/neon if brightened — keep it at this muted value.
RecommendationBest "product/UI" identity; the most on-concept for ML signal.

Palette logicMaximum tonal contrast + a matte bronze-gold accent — warm, editorial, deliberately off the blue/purple AI axis.
Brand feelingPremium, considered, memorable; reads like precision tooling / fine instruments rather than generic tech.
ContrastHighest of the three; gold sits elegantly on both warm-white and near-black.
Small sizeGood; gold is slightly lower-contrast than cyan/steel at 16px on white — verify in context.
RiskGold can read "luxury/crypto" if glossed — kept matte here to stay editorial.
RecommendationThe distinctive/ownable choice; strongest for brand/marketing surfaces.
Dimensional studies presentation only — do not replace the flat mark
dimensional v1 — Soft Depthnear-flat faces + one quiet shadow

32
100
32
Palette logicGraphite faces, steel accent, a single low-opacity drop shadow — depth implied, not drawn.
Brand feelingPremium and quiet; the mark "sits on" the surface rather than floating.
ContrastReads on light (shadow grounds it); on dark the shadow is near-invisible — acceptable.
Small sizeShadow muddies below ~24px — not for favicon; flat mark covers that.
RiskMinimal; the most restrained of the three.
RecommendationSafe hero/deck treatment when a flat mark feels too bare.
dimensional v2 — Machine Surfacediagonal sheen + machined edge highlights
100
32
100
32
Palette logicA diagonal gradient reads as a machined/anodised surface; thin top-edge highlights imply a chamfer.
Brand feelingPrecision hardware — CNC, instrumentation; technical and controlled.
ContrastGood on both; the edge highlights carry the form on dark.
Small sizeHighlights vanish below ~32px → reads as a slightly shaded flat mark; safe.
RiskEdge highlights could tip "metallic" if brightened — kept low-opacity.
RecommendationBest dimensional for a "built/engineered" story.
dimensional v3 — Signal Litrestrained cyan glow on the output

100
32
Palette logicGraphite base with a soft cyan halo behind the output stem — the "output" literally lights up.
Brand feelingActive inference / live signal; elegant, not cyberpunk.
ContrastSings on dark; on light the glow is subtle but present.
Small sizeGlow blooms below ~32px — large-format only.
RiskClosest to the neon line; keep blur/opacity at these values, never brighter.
RecommendationReserve for dark hero moments / motion; pair with flat v5 elsewhere.
